The SEC is aiming to maintain the college in college sports.
On Tuesday, the SEC introduced that groups are prohibited from including gamers who beforehand declared for the NFL,
NBA or WNBA Drafts and did not withdraw inside the allowed timeframe. Those that signed a contract in these leagues and their associates are additionally barred from competing. The choice was authorised in a unanimous 16-0 vote amongst college presidents, chancellors and athletic administrators.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Large Ten unanimously authorised an analogous measure, banning energetic NFL gamers from becoming a member of groups within the convention. The Large 12 is predicted to comply with swimsuit on Wednesday or Thursday, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have reportedly advised the SEC and Large Ten that they aren’t planning to signal professional gamers.
