For Usama Mir, his three-year contract with Worcestershire in 2025 represented way over job safety – it was an escape from a system which he believes failed him.
Having first tasted life at Worcester throughout a profitable 2023 marketing campaign, Mir instantly felt a reference to the membership.
He loved his time and regardless of a subsequent one-year contract being derailed, his want to return by no means wavered.
