Kevin Lee has undergone quite a few surgical procedures and endured some grueling accidents over time however nothing tops the broken jaw he suffered in his struggle towards Gadzhi Rabadanov in his PFL debut.

The veteran light-weight, who signed with the PFL as a late substitute leaping into the 2025 match, didn’t make it out of the primary spherical after Rabadonov blitzed him with strikes that left him face down within the canvas. Afterwards, Lee revealed that he truly suffered a damaged jaw because of the harm he absorbed within the struggle.

To help his restoration, Lee had his jaw wired shut and he admits that is by far the worst harm of his profession.

“Pay attention, I executed had all forms of accidents earlier than,” Lee stated on Instagram. “I executed broke most of my fingers, my toes, damaged bones in my foot. Twisted my ankle. Shin splints. Three knee surgical procedures — three ACL surgical procedures. Tousled my meniscus, my MCL, grade three tear in my hamstring. My hip. Tore my groin earlier than. Had an ulcer earlier than. My shoulders, I may maintain happening.

“This sort of goes with out saying however don’t break your jaw. Don’t get your jaw wired. That is the worst of the worst. There’s not even a detailed second. 24/7, it sucks. It f*cking sucks. There’s no two methods round it.”

Lee, who returned from retirement with hopes of ultimately going again to the UFC, ended up scoring a win on the regional scene earlier than signing with PFL in a multi-fight deal.

Sadly, issues didn’t go his approach with Rabadanov ending his PFL debut with a first-round knockout because the 2024 light-weight champion continues his reign of terror over the 155-pound division. Rabadanov has now scored 4 consecutive knockout victories in a row together with further wins over former Bellator champion Brent Primus and UFC veteran Marc Diakiese.

Following the loss, Lee admitted that he “can’t take in photographs anymore” and remained undecided on whether or not or not he would return to compete once more.
