    TCR World Tour: Michelisz and Ma winners at Misano as Geely claims maiden worldwide victory

    BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse’s Norbert Michelisz and Geely Cyan Racing’s Ma Qing Hua had been the victors on the opening occasion of the 2026 FIA TCR World Tour on the Misano World Circuit in Italy final weekend.

    Ma’s victory in Race 2 was a major achievement because it marked the primary win for the Geely model in worldwide competitors.

    It was Michelisz’s Hyundai team-mate Mikel Azcona who had secured pole place in a good qualifying session on Saturday morning, slightly below a tenth forward of Michelisz, with reigning champion Yann Ehrlacher placing the brand new Geely Preface TCR third on the grid for its first race.
