David Onama isn’t inquisitive about celebrating Halloween.

With his first UFC main event coming the day after October 31, it’s comprehensible why ‘Silent Murderer’ wouldn’t need to partake in a vacation surrounded by sweet and late nights watching scary motion pictures. Nonetheless, his reasoning for not celebrating All Hallows’ Eve goes far past his MMA obligations.

“Halloween? Nah, I don’t actually like Halloween or have a good time it,” Onama stated throughout the UFC Vegas 110 media day. “I don’t have a good time the satan’s day. As a child, perhaps it was enjoyable, however now that I’m older, I notice it’s not it.”

As a child who was utterly over trick-or-treating by the age of eight, I can definitely relate.

Onama is ready to headline Saturday’s return to The APEX in Las Vegas, squaring off with Steve Garcia in a high-stakes featherweight scrap.

Onama goes into the bout having gained his final 4 fights, together with a decisive resolution victory over Giga Chikadze in April. Equally, Garcia steps again contained in the Octagon having gained six in a row, together with 5 finishes and an enormous win over Calvin Kattar in his final outing.

“The struggle goes to remain on the toes for me,” Onama stated when requested about his recreation plan. “I don’t know what his recreation plan is, however yeah, more often than not we’ll be standing.”

With Onama and Garcia combining for an unimaginable 21 profession knockouts, the fireworks are certain to fly when the twelfth and thirteenth-ranked contenders sq. off on MMA’s greatest stage.
