Jofra Archer has been named in England’s staff to face Sri Lanka within the first T20 on Friday after recovering from damage.
The 30-year-old quick bowler missed the ultimate two Exams of England’s 4-1 Ashes defeat after he sustained a facet pressure and didn’t initially function within the squad for the three-match T20 collection in opposition to Sri Lanka.
England had anticipated him to return on the T20 World Cup, which begins in opposition to Nepal on February 8, however Archer has since joined the Sri Lanka squad and goes straight into the staff for the collection opener in Kandy.

Duckett out with damage
Ben Duckett misses out on the primary T20 after sustaining a bruised proper index finger throughout the series-clinching victory within the third ODI in Colombo on Tuesday.
