The Ringer’s Howard Beck reported that he has spoken to an NBA govt who shouldn’t be ruling out a Morant blockbuster within the offseason. “I’m continually checking in with executives round commerce deadline about like, okay, what we noticed, what we didn’t see, what’s subsequent, and on this league, you might be at all times, at all times, at all times looking out for who’s the subsequent wave of stars which are going to get dealt, proper?” Beck stated. “And somebody out of the blue said, keep an eye on Ja [Morant] this summer,” Beck continued. “I’m just saying it’s one of those things I’m just kind of keeping an eye on if they were to flame out early.”
