    Hampshire’s County Championship captain Ben Brown has signed a one-year contract extension, which sees him stay at Utilita Bowl till at the least the tip of the 2027 season.

    Brown, 37, joined the Rose and Crown from Sussex forward of the 2022 season earlier than taking on the reins as red-ball captain in 2025.
