Diego Pavia’s measurements an example of colleges lying about players’ sizes

College football groups usually tack on an additional inch when measuring their athletes’ heights… or generally 4.

Heading into the Senior Bowl in Cellular, Alabama, on Saturday (2:30 p.m. ET, NFL Community), Vanderbilt Commodores quarterback Diego Pavia measured at 5-foot-9 7/8 inches, 198 kilos (through Ryan Roberts of A to Z Sports activities). During his senior season, the varsity listed him at 6-foot, 207 kilos.

Assume Pavia’s Senior Bowl measurements are correct. Schools usually fudge gamers’ measurements to spice up their NFL Draft shares.

What are different examples of schools mendacity about gamers’ measurements earlier than the NFL Draft?

Schools including one or two inches is kind of frequent. Throughout the 2016 NFL Scouting Mix in Indianapolis, Sports Illustrated discovered that 28 of 332 gamers had been measured two inches shorter than their faculty measurements indicated. The bulk had been one inch shorter.
