Longtime Indianapolis Colts proprietor Jim Irsay has died on the age of 65, the staff introduced on Wednesday.
The Colts shared a press release by way of social media on Wednesday that left the sports activities world shocked. The staff mentioned that Irsay “handed away peacefully in his sleep” on Wednesday afternoon.
“We’re devastated to announce our beloved Proprietor & CEO, Jim Irsay, handed away peacefully in his sleep this afternoon. Jim’s dedication and fervour for the Indianapolis Colts along with his generosity, dedication to the neighborhood, and most significantly, his love for his household had been unsurpassed,” the staff mentioned in its assertion.
