LeBron James has repeatedly mentioned he doesn’t plan to play within the 2028 Olympics, however ESPN’s Brian Windhorst believes Workforce USA would gladly welcome him again if he alters his thoughts.
Talking on “The Hoop Collective,” Windhorst made it clear that the choice rests completely with James.
“If LeBron needs to play, he’ll get a roster spot,” the analyst mentioned.
Though James has mentioned he would reasonably watch the Los Angeles Video games from Cabo, ESPN’s Tim MacMahon advised the four-time NBA champion might rethink if he completes the two-year contract he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers.
“He’s gonna have his profession finish with the 2027-28 season, why not exit with the fifth Olympics?” MacMahon mentioned. “He’s acquired a spot in LA to remain. He doesn’t even have to remain in a lodge.”
James has represented Workforce USA at 4 Olympic Video games, successful gold medals in 2008, 2012 and 2024 after incomes bronze in 2004.
