Anthony Hernandez and Roman Dolidze look to enter themselves right into a loaded UFC middleweight title dialog.

A number of folks with information of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Preventing that Hernandez and Dolidze are focused to headline UFC Vegas 109 on Aug. 9 on the UFC APEX. RealKevinK on Twitter first reported the information.

Hernandez has been on an absolute tear at 185 kilos as he enters his second major occasion on a seven-fight win streak. “Fluffy” earned a pair of finishes in 2024 over Roman Kopylov and — in his first UFC headliner — Michel Pereira. The No. 8 ranked middleweight in MMA Fighting’s Global Rankings picked up a choice win over Brendan Allen at UFC Seattle in February in his most up-to-date outing.

Dolidze headlines his second battle card of 2025 after defeating Marvin Vettori at UFC Vegas 104 in March. The No. 13 ranked middleweight in MMA Fighting’s Global Rankings brings a three-fight win streak into the competition.

Damon Martin contributed to this report.
