Mychal Thompson: But you’re right. To me, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the greatest player ever. He’s the greatest high school player ever. He’s the greatest college player ever, by far. And when you look at his résumé in the NBA—six MVPs, five Finals MVPs—so to me, he’s the greatest ever. If you happen to say Jordan’s the best, you say LeBron, even Kobe—you’re not a nut, you’re not loopy to suppose that means, after all. However to me, yeah, Kareem is means too typically missed. And when the GOAT dialog comes up, you’re proper—solely LeBron and Michael Jordan are talked about. Kareem’s by no means talked about. Not even Wilt Chamberlain.
