The Dallas Cowboys can not seem to be taught from their previous errors in free company.

In 2024, Dallas ranked final within the league in free-agency spending ($18.85M), via Spotrac. Not filling their roster holes proved to be silly for the Cowboys. They went 7-10 and missed the playoffs for the primary time since 2020.

For some cause, Cowboys proprietor Jerry Jones appears to suppose utilizing an analogous technique will work out this time.

“I do not suppose aggressive is the fitting phrase,” Jones stated Wednesday when requested if the group can be aggressive in free company, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “I am not taking a look at free company because the place to fill voids.”

Machota added that the proprietor stated the Cowboys “can fill most of their voids within the draft.”
