    Vowles signs new long-term deal to stay at Williams

    Williams has introduced James Vowles has signed a brand new long-term contract to stay in his function as staff principal.

    Vowles joined Williams initially of the 2023 season from Mercedes and has helped develop the staff below the possession of Dorilton Capital to change into a constant midfield runner. At the moment sitting fifth within the standings however with a goal of returning Williams to the sharp finish of the grid and struggle for wins and championships in future, Vowles has now dedicated long-term.

    “We’re thrilled that James has signed a brand new contract with Atlassian Williams Racing and dedicated his future to finishing the mission that we’re on collectively,” Williams and Dorilton Capital chairman Matthew Savage stated. “He has introduced expertise, power and strategic management to the duty of restoring Williams to the highest step of the rostrum. We aren’t there but however you’ll be able to sense the momentum we’re constructing at Grove and are enthusiastic about what lies forward.”

    Vowles is already the fifth-longest serving staff principal on the grid, behind solely Christian Horner at Purple Bull, Toto Wolff at Mercedes, Andrea Stella at McLaren and Fred Vasseur at Ferrari.
