The UFC’s return to Montreal has added a pair of latest contests.

The promotion introduced two mild heavyweight contests for UFC 315 — together with a battle between current UFC Seattle winners Modestas Bukauskas and Ion Cutelaba, in addition to Contender Sequence standout Navajo Sterling dealing with Ivan Erslan, on Monday.

UFC 315 takes place Could 12 at Bell Centre — the house of NHL’s Montreal Canadians.

Bukauskas and Cutelaba didn’t waste time placing pen to paper on their subsequent bouts. Each picked up first-round stoppages this previous month on the UFC’s Struggle Night time card in Seattle, with the previous Cage Warriors champ opening the occasion with a knockout of Raffael Cerqueira, whereas Cutelaba picked up a uncommon submission win in opposition to Ibo Aslan.

Sterling makes his sophomore octagon look after incomes a UFC contract with a knockout win this previous September. The Metropolis Kickboxing standout gained his octagon debut with a unanimous choice in opposition to Tuco Tokkos at UFC Tampa in December. Erslan misplaced his UFC debut, dropping a cut up choice to Cutelaba at UFC Paris this previous September.

UFC 315 is headlined by Belal Muhammad vs. Jack Della Maddalena for the welterweight title, whereas Valentina Shevchenko defends her flyweight belt in opposition to Manon Fiorot within the co-main occasion.
