    Cain Velasquez has acquired his sentence, and it’s significantly better than the protection requested for.

    On Monday, the previous UFC heavyweight champion acquired a five-year jail sentence after he pled no-contest in court docket this previous April after dealing with a number of costs together with premeditated tried homicide, felony assault costs, and different associated gun costs following his arrest again in 2022.

    The costs stemmed from an arrest again in February 2022 after Velasquez went on a excessive velocity automotive chase going after a car that contained Harry Goularte, a person accused of molesting his son at a daycare owned by his mom. Velasquez fired .40 caliber handgun rounds on the car, placing Goularte’s stepfather Paul Bender, who suffered non-life threatening accidents, within the arm. The State District Lawyer in California requested for Velasquez to serve 30 years to life in jail.
