Quintin Grimes’ camp “didn’t explicitly request a commerce” from the Dallas Mavericks, sources inform The Stein Line. The Mavericks traded Grimes to the Philadelphia 76ers forward of the deadline in a deal for Caleb Martin.
Forward of the extension deadline in October, Grimes reportedly turned down an extension offer from the Mavericks in the neighborhood of $27 million over three seasons.
Grimes will likely be a restricted free agent this offseason and is represented by David Bauman and Travis King, Jr. The Sixers have curiosity in re-signing Grimes, who’s averaging 21.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 33.2 minutes over 22 video games since becoming a member of the staff.
