    Listed here are all the highest moments from Day 2 of the ladies’s match:

    No. 2 seed UConn dominates No. 15 seed Arkansas State by 69 factors

    Azzi Fudd had 21 of her 27 factors within the first half as second-seeded UConn rolled to a 103-34 win over Arkansas State within the first spherical of the NCAA Match on Saturday.

    Freshman Sarah Strong added 20 factors and 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks in her NCAA Match debut. Most of these got here within the first half when UConn jumped out to a 66-16 benefit on the half, taking part in almost flawless basketball.

    The Huskies had runs of 22-0, 12-0 and 13-0 within the first half as UConn received its thirty first consecutive first-round sport.

    Lucy Olsen had 12 factors and a career-high 12 assists for the Hawkeyes (23-10). They scored a season-high in factors within the first match win for first-year Iowa coach Jan Jensen, a longtime assistant who was promoted after Lisa Bluder retired.

    Murray State’s Katelyn Young, who averaged 22.2 factors heading into the NCAA Match, left the sport early within the third quarter with an ankle harm and didn’t return. She completed with six factors and 7 rebounds in 20 minutes.

    The Racers, who entered the sport averaging a nation-leading 87.8 factors per sport, shot simply 30.6% from the sphere and posted their lowest level complete of the season.
