    NBA names Kyle Filipowski Summer League MVP, announces All-SL teams

    Jazz ahead/middle Kyle Filipowski has formally been named the Summer time League Most Invaluable Participant for 2025, the NBA introduced Tuesday (via Twitter). Filipowski can be certainly one of 5 gamers who earned a spot on the All-Summer time League first workforce.

    Filipowski, who’s coming into his second NBA season after showing in 72 video games as a rookie, appeared in a complete of six Summer time League video games (Salt Lake Metropolis and Las Vegas). He averaged 23.2 factors, 9.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 blocks in 27.6 minutes per sport.  He particularly excelled in Las Vegas, averaging 29.3 factors and seven.7 rebounds in three contests.

    Clifford, a rookie chosen with the No. 24 decide, posted averages of 15.2 factors, 6.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.2 steals in six contests. Jones-Garcia, who’s searching for a contract, completed an eight-game summer time marketing campaign with averages of twenty-two factors, 5.9 rebounds and three.4 assists. He posted averages of 21.6 factors, 6.2 rebounds and three.8 assists in a handful of video games in Vegas.

    Miller (22.0, 7.8 rebounds and a couple of.6 assists) racked up spectacular quantity in 5 summer time video games after being waived earlier this month by the Clippers. Getting into his second season with Minnesota, Shannon Jr. (22.7 factors, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists) excelled in three contests.
