Maycee Barber has damaged her silence following her late withdrawal from the UFC Vegas 107 important occasion.

Barber was slated to face Erin Blanchfield in Saturday’s Combat Evening headliner on the UFC APEX. The promo video for the struggle completed airing, which might usually result in the primary fighter strolling to the octagon. As an alternative, commentators Brendan Fitzgerald, Daniel Cormier and Laura Sanko revealed that Barber was about to make her stroll earlier than turning round and heading again to the locker room space.

After a business break, Fitzgerald introduced {that a} late “medical challenge” for Barber scratched her from the struggle altogether — leading to some harsh words from Blanchfield, saying Barber is “an entire mess in each side of her whole life.”

On Sunday, Barber launched a press release on Instagram, though specifics weren’t given as to why she wasn’t medically cleared to compete, together with a little bit of a response to Blanchfield.

“Not what I had deliberate for a Sunday submit,” Barber wrote. “Thanks to everybody for the prayers and help. I owe an apology to UFC, [Mick Maynard, Dana White, Sean Shelby, and Erin Blanchfield].

“P.S.: My life will not be messy that is only a dangerous hand. We’ll unravel all of it and be again.”

The “messy” remark is in direct response to Blanchfield’s criticism aimed at Barber after the struggle was cancelled when she mentioned the 27-year-old flyweight was a “full mess in each side of her whole life.”

Barber was scheduled to make her first look in 14 months following well being points that had her hospitalized for a number of days following her UFC 299 win over Katlyn Cerminara. “The Future” told MMA Fighting that she wasn’t given any precise solutions from medical doctors with reference to what the problems had been.
