The New York Knicks don’t seem to have a succession plan to replace Tom Thibodeau as head coach, in accordance with Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Jay Wright and Cavs’ assistant Johnnie Bryant are “presumed” to be possible candidates for the position.
Bryant is currently a finalist for the Suns’ head coach job.
The Knicks even have curiosity in Ime Udoka and Jason Kidd. The Rockets would reject any interview requests from the Knicks.
It has been reported that the choice to fireside Thibodeau was lead by Leon Rose and approved by James Dolan, although many within the league are skeptical as a result of closeness between Thibodeau and Rose.
