With the Mavericks’ season ending far wanting their aim, Thompson declined to offer a straight reply when requested if he would have made a unique determination in free company if he knew what would ensue. “Don’t do that to me. Don’t do this to me. Don’t do this,” Thompson stated, dropping his head and shaking it, letting out a pained snigger. “That’s kind of a ridiculous question. I don’t own a time machine, and I don’t believe in going back, looking back. If I did that my entire profession, I might not be the place I’m at and I wouldn’t have been in a position to persevere by way of two actually arduous accidents. “So I’m right here in Dallas, and I loved my time and I’m trying ahead to the long run.”
