Joe Pyfer is a late withdrawal from UFC Mexico.
The UFC announced Saturday that Pyfer has been pressured out of his essential card bout with Kelvin Gastelum on account of sickness. Consequently, a flyweight bout between Edgar Chairez and CJ Vergara has been elevated from the preliminary portion of the lineup in line with UFC.com.
Pyfer and Gastelum had been each competing for the primary time in 2025 after rebounding from losses of their most up-to-date bouts this previous June. UFC Mexico is headlined by a flyweight contenders’ bout between two-time champion Brandon Moreno and up to date title challenger Steve Erceg. The occasion proceeds with 12 bouts.
