    Jack Jenkins had a good worse weekend than it appeared.

    On Saturday, Jenkins squared off with Gabriel Santos on the prelims of UFC 312. Within the opening spherical, Jenkins had lots of success, even dropping Santos with a kick, however the Brazilian later took management of the bout and ended up ending Jenkins with a rear-naked choke within the third spherical. And that was only the start of Jenkins’s dangerous evening.

    MMA Combating confirmed with sources near the scenario that following the bout, Jenkins was taken to the hospital for post-fight medicals and discharged. Nonetheless, he was later readmitted after the medical staff found fractured cartilage in his thyroid. Jenkins was held underneath medical supervision for the weekend and launched from the intensive care unit Monday.

    Jenkins’ staff believes the damage occurred on the finish of the primary spherical, as “Phar” instructed his nook he had numbness and lack of power in his left arm.

    The loss dropped Jenkins to 3-2 within the UFC, with a report of 13-4 total.
