On a wild afternoon at Indianapolis Motor Speedway that featured rain, late-race crashes and a late move for the win, Connor Zilisch emerged because the victor.
Zilisch acquired round Taylor Grey with two laps to go and scored his fifth win of the season, his third consecutive and the one centesimal for JR Motorsports.
“He is a great little driver,” group proprietor Dale Earnhardt Jr. informed CW Sports activities.
“That is superior,” Zilisch informed CW Sports activities. “These bricks look actually kissable. It is so cool to get JRM 100 wins.”
The race featured a number of cases of inclement climate and two controversial incidents involving Kyle Larson and Justin Allgaier and Austin Hill and Aric Almirola.
