Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders is coping with an arm difficulty at an inopportune time.
The rookie is sitting at No. 4 on the Browns’ depth chart early in August. Sanders, who fell to the fifth spherical of April’s draft, must reap the benefits of each rep he can at coaching camp to make his case that he deserves taking part in time.
On Saturday, Sanders ran sprints after practice with a number of of his teammates after lacking “Hungry Dawgs” reps. He solely threw passes throughout the set up interval within the early portion of follow, per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
Solely veteran quarterback Joe Flacco and rookie Dillon Gabriel took reps throughout the crew interval. Kenny Pickett missed the interval as he rehabs from a hamstring harm, and Sanders was saved out because of arm soreness.
