Brentford have signed Fiorentina defender Michael Kayode on mortgage and demand that ahead Yoane Wissa won’t be leaving the membership this month.
Wissa, 28, not too long ago grew to become the membership’s main scorer within the Premier League and has scored 41 targets in complete since arriving from Lorient in 2021.
He was linked with a transfer to Nottingham Forest earlier this week however supervisor Thomas Frank can’t see any switch creating.
He mentioned: “It’s good with all these rumours, I really like the switch window.
“There’s quite a lot of rumours, for me once more, he’s a Brentford participant and in my view Wissa is just not on the market, he’s been our main quantity 9, he’s been implausible.
“I can’t see why we must always promote him.”
Kayode, 20, is a flexible participant who can play at full-back or within the centre of defence and Frank is completely happy to get his man.

He added: “We actually like him, are very completely happy that we managed to signal him to provide us extra depth within the full-back positions. I feel he’s very proficient, a implausible bodily package deal.
“He has good talents to maintain going ahead. Superb defensively. After all, he’s younger and must be developed. He hasn’t performed a lot this season however final season he roughly performed a full season at Fiorentina.”
