Rising light-weight prospect Mauricio Ruffy will enter enemy territory on Sept. 6 for a struggle with French veteran Benoit Saint Denis at UFC Paris, MMA Preventing has confirmed following a report from Sexto Round.
Saint Denis (14-3, 1 no contest) submitted Kyle Prepolec in his most up-to-date octagon look in Might to rebound from back-to-back stoppage losses to Renato Moicano and Dustin Poirier in 2024.
“God of Struggle” has now received six of eight within the UFC since slicing right down to his unique weight class at 155 kilos, a one hundred pc ending charge with three bonuses claimed in victories.
Ruffy (12-1) received three straight since signing with the UFC via Dana White’s Contender Sequence, capped off by a knockout-of-the-year candidate over King Green in March.
The Preventing Nerds consultant has three knockouts in 4 octagon appearances since October 2023, together with the DWCS end over Raimond Magomedaliev, with a bonus for every UFC stoppage.
UFC Paris shall be headlined by Ruffy’s teammate, Caio Borralho, versus prime middleweight contender Nassourdine Imavov.
