Beneil Dariush will forfeit 20% of his purse at UFC 322, after the light-weight contender missed weight by 1.2 kilos on Friday.

Scheduled to sq. off towards Benoit Saint-Denis as a part of Saturday’s stacked lineup in NYC, Dariush stepped on the dimensions and weighed in at 157.2 kilos for his non-title conflict towards the ‘God of Battle.’

The combat will go on as deliberate, with Dariush handing over a bit of his earnings to Saint-Denis. It’s simply the second time Dariush has missed weight below the UFC banner, the primary coming in 2020.

Dariush was the one considered one of 24 fighters to overlook the mark throughout Friday’s weigh-ins. Elsewhere, Islam Makhachev weighed in at 170 on the dot for his highly anticipated title clash with defending welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena.

Additionally on the mark was Valentina Shevchenko, who puts her flyweight gold on the line towards two-time strawweight queen Zhang Weili.

Take a look at the full weigh-in results beneath:
