    Bangladesh announces vice-captain for the Champions Trophy 2025

    The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has formally appointed Mehidy Hasan Miraz because the vice-captain of the nationwide group for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The announcement was made on Thursday, confirming the all-rounder’s management position as Bangladesh gears up for the marquee event.

    Management expertise and Bangladesh’s preparations

    Notably, Mehidy has been a key determine in Bangladesh’s cricketing setup, having represented the group in 103 ODIs. He lately led the squad on their West Indies tour, stepping in for normal skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto, who was sidelined resulting from damage. His expertise as a pacesetter and his all-round talents make him a worthwhile asset to the group heading into the event.

    Bangladesh set to depart for Champions Trophy preparations

    With the worldwide occasion quick approaching, the Bangladesh squad will go away for Dubai tonight (January 13) to start their coaching classes. Their first match is about for February 20, the place they are going to lock horns with event favorites India on the Dubai Worldwide Stadium.

    Following their opening fixture, Bangladesh will head to Pakistan to compete of their remaining Group A matches. They’re scheduled to face New Zealand on February 24 and later tackle the hosts, Pakistan, on February 27.
