All three have been nicely snubbed for many years,” wrote Gregorian in a narrative printed Wednesday. “…All of that went into why I felt duty-bound to vote for the richly deserving seniors, who almost definitely will not ever have a listening to once more as extra senior candidates enter the pool and recent instances get made for others.”

Gregorian added he did not vote in opposition to Belichick to punish him for Spygate, and he needs the HOF to vary its choice course of after this fiasco.

“Belichick is inevitable quickly…as he ought to be,” wrote Gregorian. “On the danger of contradicting my very own vote, actually, he should not even have to attend. I perceive why persons are offended that he is not going within the first second he can. …Ultimately, although, I felt extra compelled by what I understand to be final probabilities and looming misplaced causes inside the system as we’ve got it — a system I hope the Corridor will see match to vary now.”

On X, The Athletic’s Mike Sando expanded on attainable methods Belichick missed the minimize. He talked about some voters might have assumed the coach was a shoo-in and thus voted for senior candidates, like Gregorian.
