Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, who has a deep household connection to Jamaica via his father, pledged on social media on Tuesday afternoon to be part of the large effort it can take to assist Jamaica get better from a storm that was among the many strongest to return into existence within the final century.
Hurricane Melissa’s 185 mph winds and 892 millibars of central strain on landfall tied two totally different data for the strongest Atlantic storm upon hitting Jamaica.
That prompted Murray to take to X and submit, “Praying for Jamaica! I’ll assist with the restoration” adopted by a praying arms emoji.
