Shortly after the Cleveland Browns traded up within the fifth spherical of the 2025 draft to take Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders with decide No. 144, a number of members of the NFL group strongly suggested that Browns proprietor Jimmy Haslam basically pressured Sanders on basic supervisor Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski.

The truth that Sanders is clearly Cleveland’s fourth-choice choice on the place behind fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, veteran Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett throughout coaching camp has executed little to quiet such chatter.

Whereas talking with reporters on Tuesday afternoon, Haslam insisted that Berry was liable for the drafting of Sanders. Haslam added that Stefanski will finally determine which quarterback begins Cleveland’s regular-season opener towards the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 7.
