The not too long ago signed former PFL champion makes his octagon debut when he takes on fellow veteran heavyweight Marcin Tybura (27-9) at UFC Paris. Eurosport was first to report the matchup.

Delija (25-6), received a PFL heavyweight match crown in 2022 a 12 months after ending as a runner-up in 2021. His triumphant run included victories over Matheus Scheffel, Shelton Graves, and Renan Ferreira. Within the 2022 ultimate, Delija defeated Scheffel once more to assert a championship and a $1,000,000 prize.

He went 1-1 in his ultimate two PFL appearances earlier than rebounding with a first-round knockout of Yorgan De Castro at an occasion in Slovenia this previous April.

Tybura has been a mainstay within the UFC’s heavyweight rankings for practically a decade. The Polish standout is coming off of back-to-back wins over the beforehand undefeated Mick Parkin and Jhonata Diniz and has defeated three of his previous 4 opponents. This marks Tybura’s twenty third UFC look.

UFC Paris is headlined by a middleweight contenders’ bout between France’s personal Nassourdine Imavov and Caio Borralho.
