    James Milner signs new Brighton deal, paving the way to make Premier League history

    James Milner might break the Premier League look file after signing a 12-month contract extension at Brighton.

    The 39-year-old has performed 638 video games within the English prime flight, second solely to Gareth Barry (653).

    He could have surpassed the previous Everton midfielder final season had it not been for accidents that restricted him to only 4 appearances.

    Milner’s affect extends to off the pitch with Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler keen to speak up his significance within the dressing room.

    Hurzeler hails Milner affect

    Hurzeler informed Brighton’s official web site: “I’m actually happy we can have James with us once more this season.

    “Final season he wasn’t in a position to assist the staff on the pitch as a lot as he would have preferred, however across the squad his expertise is invaluable, particularly for the youthful gamers.

    “He’s a terrific man to have in the environment, who’s at all times there for me and the staff. I’m wanting ahead to working with him once more.”

    Milner began his profession at Leeds earlier than spells with Newcastle, Aston Villa, Manchester Metropolis and Liverpool earlier than becoming a member of Brighton in 2023.

    He has 61 England caps to his title and has received three Premier League titles and one Champions League.
