    Rangers have been officialy taken over by a US consortium together with the funding arm of the San Francisco 49ers.

    Talks have been ongoing for months about the way forward for the Glasgow membership however the group led by Andrew Cavanagh has now bought 51% of the membership’s shares.

    £20m of recent funding might be made in the summertime and a brand new supervisor is predicted to be named quickly.
