    Fan sues NFL for $100M over Shedeur Sanders falling in draft

    Most individuals have been surprised at how lengthy it took for Shedeur Sanders to be chosen within the 2025 NFL Draft, however one fan says the expertise was downright devastating for him. That fan is now suing the NFL.

    An unidentified fan who used the pseudonym John Doe filed a lawsuit towards the NFL in a Georgia federal court docket on Friday in search of $100 million in punitive damages over the “emotional misery and trauma” that was inflicted on him when Sanders fell to the fifth spherical of the draft. The fan described himself in the complaint as a “devoted fan of Colorado soccer.”

    The lawsuit accuses NFL group house owners of participating in “collusive practices” that resulted in Sanders not being drafted till the Cleveland Browns took the quarterback within the fifth spherical. The plaintiff spoke with Justin Rohlrich of The Impartial about his motivation behind the lawsuit.

    “It was fast frustration,” the Georgia man stated. “This man was projected to be the primary or second choose, no later than the highest 5, and to observe mediocre gamers be chosen earlier than him … it was irritating.”

    The 55-year-old, who insists he has no private connection to Sanders, stated the NFL and group house owners have to be held accountable for what they did to the previous Colorado star.

    “And to have all of the NFL house owners collude and never draft him, it was mentally irritating and debilitating,” the person stated. “For them to consider that they’ll simply do that and there’s no recourse, it has to cease.”

    The person claims the NFL violated the Sherman Antitrust Act and accuses group house owners of working collectively to “affect the drafting course of.”

    Whereas the lawsuit stands nearly no likelihood of succeeding, there are even outstanding members of the media who’ve accused the NFL of colluding against Sanders.

    In actuality, it looks as if Sanders made some huge mistakes leading up to the draft that resulted in some groups eradicating him from their boards altogether. Many followers have chosen to not maintain him accountable for that, however just one has filed a $100 million lawsuit over it.
