The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled South Korean All-Star Hyeseong Kim on Saturday and positioned second baseman Tommy Edman on the injured listing.

Edman was positioned on the injured listing, retroactive to Wednesday, after lacking two video games with a sore proper ankle. Edman ranks second on the crew with eight house runs and 24 RBIs.

Edman’s damage creates a possibility for Kim to make his main league debut.

Kim, 26, has performed eight seasons in South Korea, together with the final six with the Seoul-based Kiwoom Heroes.

In 28 video games with Oklahoma Metropolis, Kim hit .252 with 5 house runs, 19 RBIs and 13 stolen bases.

The Dodgers listed Chris Taylor because the beginning second baseman in Saturday evening’s sport on the Atlanta Braves (7:15 p.m. ET on FOX). It was not recognized if Kim would be part of the crew in time for the sport.
