Texas has employed Sean Miller as their subsequent head coach. Miller spent the earlier three seasons at Xavier following a prolonged run as head coach of Arizona and can substitute Rodney Terry.
“Once we have been contemplating our subsequent head coach, Sean Miller was a reputation that instantly got here up as an ideal match for us,” Texas athletics director Chris Del Conte mentioned in an announcement. “He actually checks all of the bins, is strictly what we’re searching for in each aspect as a pacesetter, and in speaking with him, he has a terrific plan and imaginative and prescient for our program.”
Terry took over for Chris Beard on an interim foundation in 2022 and was given the job completely after a run to the Elite Eight that season. Xavier defeated Texas within the First 4 final Wednesday.
