Gregg Popovich will not be anticipated to return to the San Antonio Spurs’ bench this season. As well as, Popovich’s future with the workforce is unsure after he suffered a stroke in November.

Mitch Johnson has crammed in for Popovich since November as appearing head coach. The Spurs are 24-30 on the season and just lately discovered that Victor Wembanyama will miss the rest of the season because of a blood clot subject in his shoulder. When Johnson was elevated to the place, the Spurs did so with the expectation Popovich would finally return.

Popovich has been the Spurs’ head coach since taking on in 1996. Popovich has led San Antonio to 5 championships and 22 playoff appearances in 29 seasons. Popovich turned 76 in January.
