The Ringer’s Howard Beck reported that he has spoken to an NBA govt who isn’t ruling out a Morant blockbuster within the offseason. “I’m consistently checking in with executives round commerce deadline about like, okay, what we noticed, what we didn’t see, what’s subsequent, and on this league, you might be all the time, all the time, all the time looking out for who’s the subsequent wave of stars which are going to get dealt, proper?” Beck mentioned. “And somebody out of the blue said, keep an eye on Ja [Morant] this summer,” Beck continued. “I’m just saying it’s one of those things I’m just kind of keeping an eye on if they were to flame out early.” -via Sports Illustrated / February 18, 2025
