    Pelicans’ Dejounte Murray will reportedly miss rest of season with Achilles injury

    New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray will miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles tendon, in keeping with a report from Chris Haynes on Friday.

    Murray left the Pelicans’ recreation towards Boston within the first quarter Friday evening with an injury to his lower right leg. Pelicans coach Willie Inexperienced didn’t have an replace on the severity of the damage after the sport, which New Orleans misplaced 118-116.

    “No replace but,” Inexperienced stated. “He’ll get some imaging and we’ll have an replace after that.”

    Murray had pushed into the lane and took a shot, then went to chase after his miss. However he fell to the court docket and grabbed on the space close to his proper foot. When he bought up, he hobbled towards the close by Pelicans bench.

    The Pelicans rapidly introduced that Murray wouldn’t return to the sport.
