2025 WNBA MVP Odds: Collier Favored, Injured Clark Remains On Board

The injury bug is impacting the MVP odds of the Fever’s star.

We’re now midway through the WNBA season, and MVP odds are on the move, as an injured Caitlin Clark is sliding down the board.

In 2024, Vegas’ A’ja Wilson won the W’s most coveted individual award after averaging 26.9 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Despite her standout performance last year, Wilson’s odds of winning a fourth MVP award — something no player in WNBA history has achieved — now sit at +3500, third on the board.

Let’s dive into the latest odds at BetMGM as of Aug. 1.

    WNBA Regular Season MVP 2025

Napheesa Collier, Lynx: -1100 (bet $10 to win $10.91 total)
Alyssa Thomas, Mercury: +700 (bet $10 to win $80 total)
A’ja Wilson, Aces: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)
Caitlin Clark, Fever: +10000 (bet $10 to win $1,010 total)
Breanna Stewart, Liberty: +10000 (bet $10 to win $1,010 total)
Sabrina Ionescu, Liberty: +25000 (bet $10 to win $2,510 total)
Kelsey Plum, Sparks: +25000 (bet $10 to win $2,510 total)

Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier is the heavy favorite to win the 2025 MVP, shortening to -1100 from -375 over the last several weeks. The Lynx boast a 23-5 record, and Collier is averaging 23.8 points and 7.7 rebounds.

Second on the board is Phoenix’s Alyssa Thomas. She is currently averaging 16.4 points, 8.3 boards and 9.2 assists per game, with the Mercury sitting at 16-10.

Reigning MVP Wilson, now third, has fallen to +3500 from +1800 since mid-June. She is averaging 22.1 points and 9.1 rebounds on the season, but her Aces have a 14-13 record, placing them seventh in the standings.

Indiana’s Caitlin Clark has dropped to fourth on the board. She opened as the favorite to win MVP at +195, but her season has been riddled with injury setbacks, most recently a right groin injury that has kept her sidelined for six straight games. Without a timetable to return, Clark’s odds will likely continue to decline as she sits out.
